Twitter– which is an on-line social networking site where I connect with other educators all around the world. Here it is possible to share resources, discuss educational issues and network to improve teaching and learning.
Facebook– My Facebook page is for my personal connections, but it is important that I model safe and ethical practices when using this social media site. I follow the National Professional Teacher Standards and the DECD policy for social media use. I am also a part of a group called FacingIt on Facebook where educators can post helpful information and share ideas especially regarding the use of Web 2.0 tools in the classroom. I am also a member of the PE central page out of interest.
About.Me – Is a simple and easy way to share how I learn from social media and all of the various social media sites I am a part of in one central place. There is also space on this site to share a brief statement about yourself and your teaching philosophy or passions.
