I attended parent teacher interviews while on placement at Cornerstone College in 2013 and I have engaged professionally with parents/carers and students.
In 2014 I attended my first parent teacher interviews for my Home Group class. I also attended interviews for my Year 7 core group class. All 25 families attended which was fantastic. In this capacity I was able to converse with parents and their child about their learning, including their strengths and weaknesses.
I am also an active global citizen through the professional use of Twitter and WordPress, where I engage with other educators worldwide and read educational blogs posted by professionals. Furthermore, I am an active Thought Leader on PalNet where key educational issues, pedagogy, and teaching strategies are discussed.
